Has many years experience in business including senior positions with food giant Heinz and world leading car and truck rental company, Hertz.
In addition to opening a business in Sri Lanka, he also opened offices in Poland and Romania, has carried out business training in India and has traded with Hong Kong, Taiwan, Germany, France, Cyprus, the Middle East and the United States. Past President of a local Chamber of Commerce he had seen the changes in the rapid development of SMEs and micro-businesses which have replaced many of the large organisations, accompanied by the significant rise in the service industry.
In 2016, John won the Newark and Sherwood Business Person of the Year Award. In the same year for services to sport he won local, regional and national awards and in 2019 the Queens Award for volunteering.,
During his early years, as a Royal Air Force Accountant, he studied at the universities of Bristol and Hull, ran the Far East Air Force budget and reach the highest qualifications possible.
He is now a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management; Fellow of the Institute of Fundraising; and Fellow of Nottingham Trent University. .

Rasika Thenuwara is a Sri Lankan businessman whose main business is web design & development. He also had extensive experience in graphic design and advertising before entering the IT business.

After pursuing further education in Information Technology from the Open University, he is now recognized as an IT entrepreneur in Sri Lanka. He is currently working as the Managing Director of Lion tec Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. and  Web Solutions Lanka Holdings (Pvt) Ltd.

He has extensive experience in providing web design services in Sri Lanka as well as other countries. He has many personal acquaintances with many entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka and abroad through providing web design service.

Launched the Sri Lanka end of a property business brokering sales in many parts of the world including Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Malta, Cyprus, USA. With her husband, she was the first overseas member of the Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce.
Previous experience included twenty years management in a retail environment in the City of Cambridge and Financial Director of a training company.

The combined experience of the trio, helps to circumnavigate legal, business and cultural differences and with contacts in many other parts of the world, can call on assistance and expertise at very short notice.

Michael (*1958) has more than 35 years of experience developing, implementing and running IT services around the world and has enjoyed a dynamic career across the manufacturing, high tech, telecommunications and financial services sectors living and working in the USA, The Netherlands, UK, Germany and the Republic of Ireland.

In recent years, Michael focused on interim management roles, where a broad technical and managerial experience is needed to get companies’ IT services ready for the next level of digitalisation. His focus has been operational turnaround paired with regulatory compliance and securing the enterprise digital assets. In addition, Michael is involved in the start-up world, where he serves on the board of a small Information Security company and he serves a homeless charity in London as IT advisor.

Michael is married, has two daughters and in his spare time he enjoys motor-cycling, wood-working and teaching SCUBA diving.

Thibaut enhances our Intercontinental pedigree and eagerness to work with university students, improving their career opportunities whilst contributing to our own development.
In the final year at Nottingham Trent University, Thibaut Is studying International Business, following which he hopes to progress to take a Masters degree. Meanwhile he joins ICE to gain valuable experience as a senior member of our marketing team with specific responsibility to oversee the research and marketing campaign both in the UK and globally.
He has already enjoyed both work experience and completion of a business degree in Paris, enabling him to utilize his knowledge of French. He also spent time in Uganda working with families and young children educating them about water sanitation. Additional travels have taken him to China; North and East Africa; USA; Mexico and the Middle East.
In what spare time he has, Thibaut is a skilled saxophone player a accomplished skier; scuba diver and keen rugby player.
